Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Her most well-known role was Anna Garner, the main character in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first part on the screen in Babysitters in which she starred in the character of Brenda Woodberg. Krause, who studied drama in college, has appeared in a number of off-Broadway productions and New York network television series. The career of her father, who is partially Japanese and American from the beginning, has been the main source of her income. Nathaniel is her older brother. He is a bit younger than she working as a filmmaker. Her passion for art started at a young stage when she began studying dance at Washington School of Ballet, Washington D.C. She then moved on to perform in musicals of all kinds and plays by Bill Russell and Henry Krieger such as Side Show. Her choice of Carnegie Mellon Drama School was the first school she chose after having finished from high school. Louisa Krause's career began with theatre. In 2006 she appeared in the production of Huntington Theatre Company. She played Iphigenia in the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 production in 2007.
